So, I arrived in France early Monday morning around 7:00am local time (midnight back home). After navigating the Gare du Nord in Paris (terrible signage, I found), I managed to make my way here to L'Isle-Adam. By the time I got to my house, it was around 11:00am, or 4:00am at home. Needless to say, I was just a bit tired.
I'm starting to get settled in here. I think my internal clock's on this time zone now rather than the Central Time Zone still (thank God!). I officially start my job on Monday, working two mornings and two afternoons a week. I'll have two training sessions out of town, one coming up this Wednesday and the second the Wednesday after. Hopefully after that, I'll have my sea legs, so to speak.
I've been exploring the town a little bit (I hope to do more over the weekend). Yesterday, I went to the Pavillon chinois, or the Chinese Pavillion. It's pretty much the only thing I've taken pictures of so far.
Pretty, isn't it? Hopefully I'll take more photos this weekend that I'll be able to share.
